Houchin Community Blood Bank

Gina Lidgett is a born and raised Bakersfield native and California State University, Northridge Alumni, receiving a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communication Studies after graduating from Bakersfield College with her Associates of Arts in Communication Studies and American Sign Language. At Houchin Community Blood Bank she works as an Account Coordinator, where she organizes blood drives and communicates with organizations within the community who want to give back by hosting blood drives. She has grown a passion for blood donations after seeing the way it changes peoples’ lives to receive such a life-saving gift. Her favorite part of her job as an Account Coordinator is getting to meet so many wonderful people within the community and spread awareness on the need for the selfless gift of donating blood.
