Rachel was born and raised here in Bakersfield, earned her B.A. in Communications and Marketing from Tabor College in Kansas, returned to Bakersfield where she met and married longtime Condors front office executive, Jose Rivera, and together they have two beautiful children: Jack (6) & Emily (3).

With over 8 years’ experience working community relations with the Bakersfield Police Department, and having been certified as a Child Passenger Safety Technician prior to having daily exposure to her own child passengers, Rachel has a deep understanding and appreciation of car seats; balancing law, best practice and real life.

Her passion is educating parents and caregivers on how to protect their most precious cargo.
