Dr. Marvin Campos, Area Medical Director for Kaiser Permanente – Kern County Medical Center

Dr. Campos obtained his medical degree from CEBU Doctors College of Medicine, Philippines and completed residency training at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Indiana where he was also Chief Resident of his class. He has been a valued member of our Kaiser Permanente Kern County Medical Staff since 2006 and became partner in 2009. In 2013 he was elected into the Southern California Permanente Medical Group Board of Directors. In his 14 years of service to his patients and colleagues he has proven his passion for patient-centered, high quality care with a collaborative approach. His tenure of leadership started with the position of assistant Chief of Family Medicine, then Chief of Family Medicine, then Assistant Area Medical Director. He was then appointed as Area Medical Director for the Kern County Service Area in March of 2019, which serves 113,000 members.
