Foundation Director

Nick Frankle joined the Rotary Club of Westlake Village Sunrise California USA in 2003.  He was club president in Rotary Year 2006-07.  During his year as president, the club was selected the best medium club in District 5240 and the best large service organization in his home community of Thousand Oaks.

Nick served as District 5240 Governor in 2016-17.  He is currently District 5240 Rotary Foundation Committee Chair and an adviser for the District 5240 Peacebuilder Club program.

Nick is past president and current operations chair of the Rotary Action Group for Community Economic Development - an organization that helps Rotarians plan, implement, and manage projects that alleviate poverty and create impactful and sustainable economic improvements in poor and underserved communities.  He also serves as an advisor and mentor to students in the Pepperdine University Master’s Program in Social Entrepreneurship and Change.

Nick is retired from a career in software development management and international telecommunications. 

Nick is a Major Donor and member of the Bequest Society and the Paul Harris Society.

Nick has served on the Southwest PETS committee and the Zone 26-27 Education Committee helping to train future Rotary leaders.

Nick has participated in projects around the world.  He has seen how Rotarians change the world “one life at a time” while understanding that the people most changed by humanitarian projects are the Rotarians themselves
