Dear BBRC Friends,

What a blustery day we had for this week’s meeting at the Kern County Museum!  I thought for sure we’d have an intimate breakfast for just a dozen or so, but nope…we had a great turnout!  Thank you-thank you, to those who braved the dark, the dust, the wind, and the Halloween week goblins!  I think we all enjoyed taking a look at the work-in-progress transportation exhibit, thanks to our friend Mike McCoy!

Our next week will continue with the theme of “history can be FUN,” when BHS teacher and Kern County history expert Ken Hooper joins us.  You won’t want to miss it!

Also, if you’ve been asleep at the wheel…we’re having a little “wear your Rotary pin” contest!  If you’re spotted on social media, wearing your Rotary pin…your name will be entered into a drawing to be held at this week’s meeting.  Who will be the big winner this time????  The bride?  The hair salon beauty?  The band mom?  The guy whose last name starts with O’D?  You???

See you on Wednesday!  In the meantime, Share Rotary with a Friend!
