xcited to introduce Fred Walkover, one of our newest members at the BBRC! Fred joined us on August 9, 2023, under the sponsorship of Jeff Haynes, and he brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our community.Fred's career is a testament to his dedication and leadership. He began as a sales manager at RadioShack, eventually overseeing their repair centers. This role set the stage for his pivotal leadership journey as a VP/GM in Telecommunications. Fred led regional and national installation and service teams for prominent companies like RadioShack, Comcast, Spectrum, and Altice. Additionally, he managed installation and post-sale support for two renewable energy companies, overseeing residential
solar installations across 22 states.
Driven by his passion for developing leaders and teams, Fred transitioned to professional coaching in 2022. He is now a certified coach credentialed through the International Coaching Federation, helping executives and teams reach their full potential.
Fred and his wife Ida recently celebrated their 40th anniversary on May 6, showcasing a beautiful partnership and dedication. While they currently have no pets, Fred's life is filled with joy from his two grandkids.
When Fred isn't working or spending time with his family, he indulges in a variety of fun activities. A talented singer, he performs Barbershop 4-part harmony with his quartet in Bakersfield and with the 9-time gold medal world champion chorus, the Masters of Harmony, in LA. In addition to singing, Fred enjoys playing pickleball and woodworking.
