May the year 2022 be full of successes, prosperity, peace and no more COVID!
We’re watching the news and the development with the new variant.
For now we are still optimistic and we are holding to our goal of meeting in-person at the District Conference & Foundation Gala, January 28-30, 2022.
We are asking all attendees to please take these necessary precautionary safety steps:
Masks are required indoors and can be removed when drinking and eating.
When you pick up your credentials, please be prepared to show your vaccination card and a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of January 28.
The Hilton Hotel has already taken these steps to mitigate the spread of the virus:
· All Hilton associates wear face masks, regardless if they are vaccinated or not.
· Hilton’s Director of Engineering had the following done to the ballrooms:
A. Replaced the standard MERV 8 filters with all new, higher value MERV 13 filters specifically designed to eliminate circulation of airborne microbes.
B. Installed sterilizing UV light systems on evaporator coils to irradiate and kill airborne microbes in the duct work before they reach the general air supply.
C. Reprogramed their system to inject 100% fresh air while eliminating recirculation of inside air.
