What is Casa Esperanza and how is it changing the options in our community?

A graduate of the University of Michigan, and CEO and Founder of Lightwave Education, Ms. Lisa Elzy Watson, established a non-profit dedicated to education, mentoring, and community outreach. Lisa joined the Board of Casa Esperanza in 2019 with a heart for the hard work of building a small nonprofit with a big idea about supporting homeless women and their children. Their goal was to raise enough funds to build a house by 2021. Today Casa Esperanza’s house is the debt free and home to five families. As Grant Writer and Vice President of Programs, Lisa has secured over $1.3 million in funding for the organization.
