Eugene (Gene) Voiland recently retired as chairman of the Board of Directors for Valley Republic Bank Corp. He is also the retired Founding President and CEO of Aera Energy LLC. 

He served and is now retired from directorships on for-profit boards of Saltchuk Resources LLC and Berry Corporation. He remains active in community organizations in Bakersfield, California, where he and his wife Linda live.

Mr. Voiland is a 1969 graduate of Washington State University with a B.S. degree in chemical engineering. He’s a past member of the WSU Foundation’s Board of Directors and a current member and past chairman of the Foundation Investment Committee.
