Special Olympics

Sara is a Bakersfield native as well as a CSUB alum. She started as an intern for Special Olympics Southern California 5 years ago before joining the staff working in volunteer management in LA county

.For the last 2 years she has covered school programming for Kern county, helping to promote and grow more inclusive programming in local schools for students with and without intellectual disabilities from pre-k to college.

Sara is extremely passionate about strengthening the relationship between SOSC and the community to promote acceptance, inclusion, and well-being not just for our Special Olympics athletes but for everyone.
