It is with a heavy heart we have made the decision to postpone the District Conference & Foundation Gala. We are researching new dates for later this year and have our fingers crossed that the COVID variant will be on a deep decline by then and it will once again be safe to hold an in-person gathering.
January 28-30, 2022 District Conference & Foundation Gala dates are canceled.
We are working with the Santa Barbara Hilton for available dates this summer/fall and will get word out to you as soon as we have a new confirmation.
In the meantime, people already registered for the Conference/Foundation Gala have two options: to request a refund or your registration will automatically move forward to the new dates.
For those who made hotel room reservations, you must cancel those yourself directly with the venue.
At this time, we don’t know what the health safety protocols will be later this year but rest assured, we will do everything in our power to be responsible to all concerned by maintaining a healthy in-person assembly.
Please stay safe as we continue with our Rotary work knowing these times will pass but our commitment to our community, locally and around the world, is not diminished.
We look forward to a successful and rewarding time together soon.

n born between the dates. I think my excuse was that I was a young patrolman working the Streets of Bakersfield every night while attending Cal State Bakersfield, so I didn’t get to party much. Oh well, thanks President Jeff for keeping the meetings fun!
