Fun meeting today and I am thrill with our mega-givers like Mike O’D. Like I said in our meeting to Cheryl Scott, you just need to twist his arm a little harder. Maybe we all do?? It was great to see Carol Smith at the meeting, hopefully we will get to see her more. I am excited to have our first pancake breakfast feed of the Rotary year this Saturday, hope to see you there. Don’t forget we are only on Zoom next week with our DG Deb Linden. Let’s show her what a GREAT club we are.

I don’t know about you, but it seemed a little darker and cooler heading to the meeting this week. Here is a recap of our latest meeting.
President Dave looked vacation-y in his Hawaiian print shirt. We welcomed a full house including guests Darren Scott (to celebrate the Scott’s 31st wedding anniversary on 9/16) and Visiting Rotarian Carol Smith from Twilight. While Frank had me sub for him with the newsletter, he forgot to tag someone to provide the invocation. The eloquent Athena Collup gleefully volunteered and asked our Heavenly Father to “help us seek peace.” Amen!! Jacque Alexander proudly waved the colors and led us in our flag salute. Songstress Chelsea Ashcraft led us in “God Bless America.”
