Unfortunately we are unable to continue meeting at Lino's Venue. Until we have a new home we will be trying out different locations. If you have question or meeting location ideas, please contact Michele McClure - Club Service Director.
The official weekly publication of The Rotary Club of Bakersfield Breakfast
July 20th, 2022
I knew it would be a good morning when driving up to our Breakfast Rotary meeting, and I saw Cal State Bakersfield University Administrator Heath Niemeyer entering the front doors at Lino’s Venue—then greeted with the big smiles of David Lari and new member Holly Kuntz who served as greeters. During a week of sweltering high temps, that is traditional for this season; it is good, very good, to be a member of this club where we can get together on a beautiful morning where we can build better friendships while unifying business and our professions towards opportunities of community service. For BBRCers, we understand that the more involved we become in our club activities, the more fun, joy, and value we gain through our membership. Can you think of someone who would make an ideal active and contributing member of Breakfast Rotary? I bet you can! Invite them as a guest to one of our upcoming meetings during August. Spread the good news about our club, folks, and Let’s Make Some Noise!!!!
I could not ever say that Song Meister Carol Smith ever makes noise; by the way…she instead makes harmony and makes us sing well with her incredible voice in leading our morning songs. Her morning selection was Grand Ole Flag. Thank You, Carol, for inspiring us with your voice and patriotic spirit.
Our dear Mindy Wilmot brought a guest, her groovy husband, Don. They are celebrating their 23rd wedding anniversary. Congrats, love birds!
