Rotary Club of Bakersfield Breakfast

or as we call ourselves

Bakersfield Breakfast Rotary Club - BBRC

Rotary is a leadership organization. We’re made up of local business, professional and civic leaders. We meet regularly, get to know each other, form friendships and through this, we get things done in this community!

BBRC meets Wednesdays at 6:45 AM at the Petroleum Club for breakfast.
Each meeting also includes a program.

BBRC Activities

BBRC members hold the Thousand Flags event on Memorial Weekend to honor veterans and raise funds for Wounded Heroes. To see a video of the event go to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFhxmRQ1sSc

BBRC members enable wreaths to be placed at every grave in the National Cemetery for Christmas

BBRC members provide scholarships for graduating seniors at the three high schools it supports – Foothill, Golden Valley and Independent High Schools.

BBRC members have roofed more than 35 homes for Habitat for Humanity

BBRC members support the Bakersfield City School District SEAL program for children. Many of these children are in group homes. BBRC members act as the “PTA” for these children.

BBRC members serve pancake breakfasts to the poor, shop with kids at Christmas, have adopted San Miguel Grove at the bike path and Manor St and volunteer for many more activities in our community.

Plus BBRC members enjoy many social activities!
